Specifically, the summit featured presentations emphasizing the business case for diversity and the need for organizational changes to promote an inclusive environment, as well as strategies to build and foster meaningful mentor-mentee relationships. The summit also provided the statistics of the CBA Pledge and Plan signatory organizations.

    This summit provided a snapshot of the data collected from the CBA Pledge and Plan Signatories, with a specific focus on the Year Three focus of the Pledge and Plan: Hiring and Pipeline Initiatives. The summit featured consultants from Veritas Culture, who spoke with attendees about the systematic and internal dynamics that negatively impact the ability to recruit, retain, and promote diverse talent. The summit also featured conversations regarding the role of law firms in mentoring diverse attorneys and narratives from diverse legal professionals regarding their experiences of being an underrepresented minority in the legal profession.
