CT Free Legal Answers is a an ABA-supported website where financially qualifying Connecticut residents can post questions about their civil legal issue. Volunteer attorneys can log in to the website and choose which questions to answer.

The CBA leads K-12 programs to provide civics education and encouraging talented and diverse students to consider a legal career path. Consider volunteering for mock trial competitions, Law Day, Lawyers in the Classroom, and LAW Camp.

The CBA and Connecticut's Legal Community Diversity & Inclusion Pledge & Plan (Pledge & Plan) signatories have teamed up to provide scholarships for diverse candidates to enroll in an LSAT preparation course. The scholarship is available to qualified applicants who are representative of a diverse demographic.

DeMeola Fund

The CBA’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee has established The Karen Lynn DeMeola Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fund (DeMeola Fund) at the Connecticut Bar Institute (CTBI). Interested persons and groups can provide financial donations the DeMeola Fund to support the efforts and initiatives of the Committee.

Ralph Monaco

Ralph J. Monaco Memorial Civics Education Award and Fund

The CT Bar Insitute (CTBI) established The Ralph J. Monaco Memorial Civics Education Award and Fund (Monaco Civics Award and Monaco Memorial Fund). Donations to the Monaco Memorial Fund are provided to a designated fund at the CTBI. The sole purpose of the Monaco Memorial Fund is to provide funding for the monetary grants accompanying the Ralph J. Monaco Memorial Civics Education Award.
